Bethesda Game Studios has released mods for "Fallout 4" PS4 version. It was reported that the Bethesda was trying to release the mods before, but Sony was blocking it from PS4. The fans of Fallout 4 were also requesting to get the mods for a long time. Now, it is reported that even PS4 Pro also would receive mods for the Pro version of the game with the next update.

Interestingly, after several disputes, in October Bethesda and Sony came to an agreement to implement mods for the game and Skyrim: Special Edition. But, Sony has made sure that only limited mods are made available to both of the games and hence the gamers of Fallout 4 would find fewer mods comparing to PC and Xbox versions. It should be noted that the mods for Fallout 4 in PC and Xbox were made available months back.

Apart from adding mods to Fallout 4, the update also fixed some crashes and improved the performance. The fixing includes an issue while using spaces in Mods search functionality. It made a general optimization to make the gaming a better experience. While trying to start a new game from the main menu Fallout 4 PS4 version experienced crashes before and it has been sorted out with the latest update.

The update on Fallout 4 PS4 version would also fix the issues with some sound effects that found to be dropping after reloading any portion of the game. There was also an issue that the library and favorite mods category were not being displayed in some instances and that has been rectified with the update. It also fixed a rare crash that mods are developing with an unexpected data structure while playing Fallout 4.

Other fixes in Fallout 4 PS4 version includes some mods images take too much time to load while scrolling and a cut out of the audio. Interestingly, Bethesda is trying to make a full modding in PS4 similar to Xbox and PC, but it seems that the developer has to work a lot with Sony to implement it.
