The 100th episode of "Arrow" Invasion is a reportedly creating great juncture with the theme of the episode. The season 5 episode 8 is planned to air on Nov. 30. The synopsis shows Oliver and the company will be facing a difficult situation with the visible disagreements in the trailer. Interestingly, the successive episodes of "Arrow" Invasion would be crossovers and hence the plot could be leading to that crossover.

The synopsis of the "Arrow" Invasion will be showing Oliver facing issues with alternative timeline mentioned in the episode. The team Arrow would be facing the aliens named The Dominators, who are creating chaos in DC universe in the "Supergirl" starting from Nov. 28. Similarly, the ongoing series "Legends of Tomorrow", which airs on Dec. 1 would also feature Oliver and the team.

The synopsis of "Arrow" Invasion starts with Oliver wakes up to the life in which he didn't get the Queen's Gambit. Similarly, Robert and Moira are also alive. He is getting ready to get married to fiancée Laurel. Though things look good, Oliver finds some troubles and he wants to find the reason for that. At the same time, Felicity and her team challenge another threat with the help of The Flash and Supergirl.

The cast of "Arrow" Invasion includes guest star Grant Gustin as The Flash and Melissa Benoist as Supergirl. The crew of the episode includes the director James Bamford with the story from Greg Berlanti and Teleplay written by Wendy Mericle and Marc Guggenheim.

The alternate timeline of "Arrow" Invasion can only happen with two possibilities. The world of Oliver could be his experience in the "Flashpoint" and he got the blow from Alchemy as a way to destabilize Flash's allies. This would be working in the lines of "The Flash" airs on Nov.29, which would have a major revelation that makes superheroes losing trust each other. This is expected to work well in the strategies of the antagonists in both the episodes.

Secondly, Oliver is affected by Black Mercy, an alien parasite, which can eat host abilities and make them vulnerable. Apart from Arrow Invasion, the parasite has previously depicted in Supergirl season 1 episode named "For the Girl Who Has Everything" and would work to make Oliver less competent in The Flash.
