"God of War" made some buzz during Sony's E3 event this year. Right after it was introduced, gamers can no longer let go of their new release.

Players from around the world expected that the new game will be called "God of War 4". However, the game developers opted to stick with the original name - "God of War". Even though the newest version copied the original name, critics say it was very different from the developers' previous installments of the game, Digital Spy says.

Now, the new "God of War" focuses mainly on Kratos' adventures. According to WCCF Tech, developers will not show up at PlayStation Experience 2016 scheduled on December 3 and 4 at Anaheim Convention Center, California. Fans even followed Game Director Cory Barlog's twitter account to see and learn the latest about the game. He openly said that nothing from the game will be shared during the event but something "amazing" will be revealed soon.

But this rumor might not be true as a short trailer of the game is already seen on YouTube under PlayStation's channel. In the trailer, Kratos was seen with his son doing hunting training. Towards the end of the video, they both encounter a big monster which they later on both try to defeat.

While most of the reports online talk about the release and the first look "God of War" will probably have in PlayStation Experience 2016, Express UK notes that "God of War's" DLC will feature a brand new Norse setting. The article quoted Barlog when he said that the developers have made a new direction for the game's story line. "We've actually moved away from Greece and Kratos has kind of wandered. We are parsing it as the time in which the vikings spoke of their gods walking the earth."

Sony is yet to announce which games are going to appear during the convention. Also, the release date of "God of War" has not been announced yet.
