‘Kabaneri Of The Iron Fortress’ News: See The Trailer For The Compilations Films HERE; Actions Scenes Featured In The Teaser

To excite more fans, a teaser trailer for the compilation films of the anime "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" has been uploaded into the official YouTube channel of Fuji TV's Noitama programming block today. The trailer's sequences focus on the films' action scenes.

The compilations films of "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" will have two parts that will be screened between December and January. According to the website Crunchyroll, the first part, "Tsudou Hikari' ("Gathering Light"), is scheduled on December 31 while the second part, "Moeru Inochi" ("Burning Life"), will debut on January 7. Both will have two-week screening schedules.

"Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" is a steampunk survival action story set in the island country of Hinomoto. The zombie-apocalypse anime series was a commercial and critical success and gained following from the fans of "Attack on Titan," which has similar plot and characters. Jobs & Hire reported that the anime's second season will not air until 2019.

The television anime is written by Ichirō Ōkouchi who also penned popular animes such as "Code Geass" and "Overman King Gainer." "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" is helmed by Tetsurō Araki who is the genius behind blockbuster shows "Death Note" and "Attack on Titan." Legendary character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto who worked on "Macross" and "Gunbuster" is also involved.

The original "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress" animated film had received critical acclaim and wider acceptance from fans. It bagged the Best Work (TV Broadcast), Best Soundtrack, Best Screenplay, and the Character Design honors at the 2016 Newtype Anime Awards.

To perk up interest for the compilation films of "Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress," fans have been invited to contribute the voice work in the films. News Everyday reported that auditions will be conducted on social media site nana for interested fans who want to lend their voice work for the zombie-like Kabane. Fans who will be chosen will be properly credited in the final films.
