Amy Adams Confirmed Disenchanted, Enchanted Sequel

At the Governors Awards, Amy Adams who played as Giselle confirmed that the sequel entitled Disenchanted is in development with Adam Shankman directing and filming scheduled to begin in summer 2017 after a decade of the Enchanted sequel. It is an upcoming American fantasy-musical film produced and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Barry Sonnenfeld and Josephson Entertainment.

The first animated or live-action film was a hit that made a total grossed of $340.5 million worldwide with the $85 million movie budget. After being talked and waited for years, Enchanted has finally on their way for the sequel.

The written will be done by J. David Stem and David N. Weiss. She added that she singing and dancing as well as a little laughing at ourselves is good. She even mentioned that she trusted the team putting together timely.

Way back in 2011, James Marsden (Prince Edward) told the E News that the movie was successful and he did not understand why they never did a sequel. He added that at some point that he needs to do it before Adams and he turned 40, and for the record, Adams is 42 and Marsden is 43.

 

The fairy tale sets ten years after Giselle questioning her happily ever after, and accidentally turning everyone's lives twisted together in both the real world and in the animated kingdom of Andalasia. It starred Amy Adams, Patrick Dempsey, James Marsden, Timothy Spall, Idina Menzel, Rachel Covey and Susan Sarandon.

 

You can catch Adams in theaters for her sci-fi drama Arrival. And, together with Jake Gyllenhaal and Armie Hammer in director Tom Ford's upcoming Nocturnal Animals.

Fans have been waiting out for its trailer and movie release. But as of now, there is no release date has been revealed as of yet for Enchanted 2 but Disney is hoping to get it before cameras in the summer of 2017.
