'Ghost In The Shell' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Stunning First Trailer Revealed, What We Know so Far!

The first trailer of "Ghost in the Shell" is already revealed with the Cyborg Scarlett Johansson. The adaptation of the original manga anime is here and brings in diversion from the original series.

In a report from Wired, the original manga series is by Masamune Shirow and has been first published in 1989. "Ghost in the Shell" is about The Major (Scarlett Johansson) who is a cyborg detective. She is made of prosthetics due to an accident. The Major has special abilities that made her the leader of the Public Security Section 9.

The film is directed by Rupert Sanders and shoes of Johansson being bombarded by issues that will press her. She has been made into a robot and does not have a memory of her life whatsoever in "Ghost in the Shell."

The Verge reports that "Ghost in the Shell" is full of Japanese imagery and has surely been adapted well from the original anime. The first trailer of the film reveals of its stunning visual effects from the film. Together with Johansson in the film is Takeshi Kitano as the Chief Daisuke Aramaki.

Meanwhile, the score for "Ghost in the Shell" is composed by Clint Mansell according to a report in Collider. Mansell already has done great works with 'Requiem for a Dream' and 'The Fountain.' He may be the perfect fit for the film's score since he already made the same work with 'Stoker' and 'Black Swan.'

"Ghost in the Shell" is the first film that Mansell will score for which is in the blockbuster category. This has been the new one since his works with 'Doom,' 'Sahara' and 'Smokin' Aces.' There is much to expect from the movie, aside from the score coming from a great composer, it also has stunning visual effects to go with it.

"Ghost in the Shell" will air in March 31, 2017.
