'DJI Mavic Pro': As DJI Gets Reports Of Shipping Delays, Check These Good Options Customers May Want To Consider

While DJI Mavic Pro got fair reviews before its shipping schedule, it might get some negative feedback now that customers who had set pre-orders report shipment delays.

DJI was already lucky that GoPro's announcement was just a heap of days away from theirs. It was as if both companies were brewing something similar for everyone, when GoPro and DJI both unveiled a new drone design with wings that are foldable and convenient to bring anywhere because of its size.

Everything was great before its release date: October 15. All customers who already paid for their DJI Mavic Pros waited for their drones on that day but to their disappointment, it did not. Tech Crunch notes that most of these customers immediately went to their online sites and to DJI's website to complain about the delay.

Because of how fast the complaints mounted, DJI immediately issued statement by statement, ensuring that they are ironing out all the errors and delays they are encountering. Early this week, customers who complained last October 15 are already starting to receive their DJI Mavic Pros.

For interested buyers who are afraid to encounter the same problem, you may opt to check other brands which offer the same value or drone quality. One of these is, of course, Mavic Pro's closest rival model: the GoPro Karma, Mobi Picker suggests.

My First Drone lists Yuneec Typhoon H and Yuneec Q500 4K, 3DR Solo, and the Parrot Bebop as among the few drones which come close to DJI Mavic Pro. All of these pretty much promise High Definition Video Resolution.

If the look of these drones does not appeal to most, anymore, they can opt to get the Hover Camera Passport. Hover's website described the device as a "flying camera" which allows users to feel like having their own "travel photographer".
