Comedian and TV host Dave Chappelle capitalized on his appearance in the recent episode of Saturday Night Live, where, after his monologue, sent a message to the viewers and indirectly to the President-elect Donald Trump, saying he would give the 45th President of the United States a chance. President-elect Trump in turn must give the "historically disenfranchised" a chance as well.

Fans of Saturday Night Live had a chance to enjoy once again the sense of humor of Dave Chappelle as he hosted the show for its rich variety. Chappelle jokingly uttered that the America elected as the president an Internet troll.

Season 42 episode six of Saturday Night Live was the first time that Chappelle hosted the show but his brilliance and knack in making people laugh came as natural as he is known to be. SNL opens with a monologue, with solemn and gloomy aura where the host, guests and audience, including those who watched at home on their televisions, a reflection of how the recent Presidential Elections gave them a Republican for a leader.

Kate McKinnon, playing Hillary Clinton, was singing "Hallelujah" to pay tribute to Leonard Cohen. But the humor the show is all about kicked off when McKinnon sang the lines, "I told the truth, I didn't come to fool ya" and "I'm not giving up and neither should you." Chappelle talked about the politics such as the Pulse nightclub shooting, the elections, the stereotyping of President Obama and the perks of staying at a hotel owned by President-elect Trump.

His comedy stint was supported by guests such as Chris Rock who was superb in blending with the humor of Saturday Night Live. "The Walking Dead" parody contained spoilers for the TV series' fans. Later, another tribute was paid to Phife Dawg by A Tribe Called Quest with Dawg's portrait brought on stage. They were joined by the legendary Busta Rhymes.
