'Outlander' Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: The Dunsany Sisters To Be introduced, What We Know So Far!

"Outlander" Season 3 is already in production and is set to return right after the previous season's events left off. This upcoming season also introduces the Dunsany sisters.

According to a report in Deadline, Geneva Dunsany (Hannah James) and Isobel Dunsany (Tanya Reynolds) are both going to be introduced in "Outlander" Season 3. Geneva is the eldest sister and is described to be stronger then the younger one. She is beautiful and demanding to the servants in their home.

Isobel Dunsany on the other hand, is described to be the warm and friendly sister in "Outlander" Season 3. She is more compassionate to others and is the more likable one between the two sisters. She has a beauty that is simpler than her elder sister.

Aside from the Dunsany sisters, there are more characters to join "Outlander" Season 3 according to a report in E! News. Cesar Domoboy is to join the cast as Fergus. He is an older version of the pickpocket who was taken under Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jaime's (Sam Heughan) care in the previous season.

Additionally, Lauren Lyle is also going to be a part of "Outlander "Season 3. She plays the role of Marsali who happens to be one of Laoghaire's daughters. John Bell is the Young Ian Murray and Will Johnson is to portray the role of Joe Abernathy.

Meanwhile, a report from Variety states that "Outlander" Season 3 is based from the third book of Diana Gabaldon titled 'Voyager.' The events in this season start with Jaime and Claire separated from each other.

Jaime is left behind in his world to fight the Battle of Culloden, while Claire goes back to her present life to her husband and is recently pregnant. "Outlander" Season 3 also reunites the couple. It is rumored that the two will unexpectedly cross paths again at a print shop.

"Outlander" Season 3 is currently in production and the show will air in 2017.
