It has been reported that earlier this week that the new movie series of X - Men is under reworking. It was speculated that X - Men: Apocalypse underperformed and some of the big stars such Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy have come to reach the end of their contracts.

Franchise producer and writer Simon Kinberg stated that the series would be reconfigured starting with the new scripts. Even though some cast has reached the end of their contract, the X - Men creators have an open mind to keep them depending on the outcome of the new movie plan.

Today, reports state that the new X - Men movie will focus on the "The Dark Phoenix Story," thus embarking the return of Jean Grey. According to LRM, Fox is under negotiation regarding the plan of rekindling the story of the "Dark Phoenix" storyline for the upcoming X - Men Movie. Thus, the confirmation of the "Dark Phoenix" being the center of focus for the upcoming film is as of now a rumor.

The details regarding the completion of the storyline are still rough. Producers are still deciding on whether proceed with the set storyline or not. If so, fans could expect the return of Sophie Turner as Jean Grey.

The "Dark Phoenix" Saga is a continuation of the X - Men Universe film which centers on Jean Grey possessing the powers of the Phoenix. Through certain events, and unwanted circumstances, Jean Grey has turned herself into a Dak Phoenix with an impeccable power which is deemed to be a threat to the universe.

Also, the addition to the X - Men Rework Extravaganza, producer, and writer Simon Kinberg will not be directing the new X - Men movie but is working on new scripts with an open mind to keep favorites stars such as Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, and James McAvoy.
