Union Of 'Real Housewives' Cast and 'The Young and The Restless' Stars To Happen Soon In Y&R Show

Who would have thought that reality TV stars will make an appearance in a fictional series? Well, makers of "The Young and The Restless" just did that.

Entertainment Weekly learned through an exclusive source of their site that "Real Housewives" star Erika Girardi will make an appearance in "The Young and The Restless" series soon. Girardi is reportedly going to appear with "Real Housewives" co-star Eileen Davidson.

The publication learned that Girardi will portray the role of Farrah Dubose, a businesswoman who has a certain goal in Genoa City. This is in line with Davidson whose character does the same as Dubose. Davidson will play Girardi's opposite character named Ashley Abbott.

The episode in "The Young and The Restless" series where both "Real Housewives" stars will appear is scheduled to air on December 15. Their appearance is also expected to get aired in "Real Housewives" upcoming season with its premiere episode slated to air by December 6. Soap News is excited in their report to know that Davidson is actually now included in "The Young and The Restless" roster of guest stars.

Meanwhile, "The Young and The Restless" stars also elated for some of the latest good news they received. Chicago Tribune says the "Soap Opera Festival" is set to give commendation of the show in their event.

The series has been known for its mysterious twists and for being one of the most long-running series in television history. To give you a calculation, CBS' "The Young and The Restless" has been on TV for 40 long, successful years. Billy Abbott portrayer Jason Thompson admits that he is very excited about the event and is happy to learn that he is about to meet people who has constantly supported the show. The "Soap Opera Festival" will take place on November 12 to be held at Four Winds Casino Resort located in New Buffalo, Mich.
