'Big Hero 6' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Original Characters To Be Back In The Animated Series, Everything That We Need To Know!

"Big Hero 6" is about to make a comeback and this time on TV. The animated series will feature the voice from the animated film. The characters are still from the original ones when it first aired as a movie in 2014.

In a report from Deadline, "Big Hero 6" the animated series returns right after the events featured in the film. It continues the adventures of Hiro and his robot Baymax. Along with Hiro and Baymax are Wasabi, Honey lemon, Go Go and Fred to move into protecting their city from the villains.

The story has Hiro challenged with everyday activities in school and outside of it in "Big Hero 6." He is studying at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. He is also challenged academically with all the competition from other students in the Institution.

According to a report in The Mary Sue, most of the original voice characters from the movie are coming back in the animated series "Big Hero 6." The original characters to voice the animation are Maya Rudolph as Cass, Alistair Krei is voiced by Alan Tudyk and Scott Adsit is Baymax. Also coming back are Ryan Potter as Hiro Hamada and Jaime Chung as Gogo Tomago.

T.J. Miller who voiced Fred and Damon Wayans Jr. who voiced Wasabi are not coming back to "Big Hero 6." However, they have been replaced by Brooks Whelan and Khary Payton. Stan Lee is also coming back for his role as Fred's dad in the upcoming animated series.

Meanwhile, the animated series "Big Hero 6" is still all about the squad's adventures and follows the events from the film according to a report in E News. The groups are to be expected to bring in more challenging moments in the animated series.

"Big Hero 6" is set to be aired in 2017 and is a production of the Disney Television Animation.
