'Stranger Things' Season 2 Updates: Casts For This Season Revealed!

“Stranger Things” the hit Netflix series, revolving around the supernatural in a small town back in the 1980’s. With its Twin Peaks like tone, it managed to develop a base of followers, anticipating the newest released information surrounding the series.

Den of Geek shares some basic information on the upcoming “Stranger Things” Season 2. First of all, Millie Bobby Brown will be back in the role of Eleven. As one of the series’ most popular characters, this was an anticipated move, as fans are eager to learn what happened to her in the end of the first season and see development in her direction. The new season will be released in the year of 2017 and will take place in the year of 1984.

Inquisitr adds in with details about other cast appearances. The character of Barbara (Shannon Purser) was killed off by the monster and even though others were able to be saved from the Upside Down World, people believed there is a hope for her too. One of the creators of the series Matt Duffer, announced that she really was dead. He hoped that the slug in her horribly disfigured body will be a sign enough for her factual death. She will not be re-appearing any time soon in the series.

Mirror UK announced that on the place of Barbara, there will appear some new characters. Two of them are played by Dacre Montgomery and Sadie Sink. The two will play a brother and sister in the upcoming “Stranger Things” Season 2. Sink is playing Max a tomboy with a tough and confident attitude, while Dacre will play her older brother, who has a bad attitude and a black Camaro.
