Manny Pacquiao Still Has It; He Bombs Over Jessie Vargas in The WBO Welterweight Championship

They say that you cannot put a good man down. Manny Pacquiao still has it and he had proven once again in the 12 rounds of hostilities against the Mexican Jessie Vargas. A unanimous decision by all three judges in their respective score card, 114-113, 118-109, 118-109 for the Pacman, as reported by CBSSPORTS.

Manny Pacquiao is now 59 wins -6 losses- 2 draws in his boxing career after strafing Jessie Vargas, the former WBO Welterweight Champion (27 wins- 2 losses). Jessie Vargas is ten years his junior. Manny's stamina was all activity all throughout the match, it was Vargas who started losing steam after the early rounds of the second half of the fight.

Age didn't hamper Manny Pacquiao's mission to hang the Welterweight Championship belt in his Collection Wall. Manny Pacquiao won all the twelve rounds in detailed scorecards of the three judges. The judges were Dave Moretti, Glen Feldman, and Glen Trowbridge. Officiating the titled match was Ken Bayless, according to an article from Los AngelesTimes.

The Mexican Jessie Vargas admitted to have been surprised of Manny Pacquiao's arsenal as he had more left in his coffers. Another thing that caught Vargas by surprise is Manny's speed and agility which had not faded a bit from ten years ago.

Punches landing left and right turned Vargas face into a bloody mess. Although Vargas had his share of a few solid punches landing on Manny, It was a far cry of scathing Pacquiao in the match. "I was aggressive in this fight but maintained of not being careless", Manny said when asked by an official boxing commentator in the post-match boxing ring question.

Manny Pacquiao insinuated for a following fight when asked if he intend for a next match, and even entertained to a lower weight division of 140 pounds. "Even better", he said. But he welcomes any opponent presented to him by his promoter, Bob Arum, according to Telegraph.
