‘Clash of Clans’ Latest News: December 2016 Update To Include Mermaids, Pirates, and Submarines; Will COC Reclaim The Top-Grossing Game Title?

Will the upcoming update to Supercell's 'Clash of Clans' (COC) open to the worlds of seas for players? Leaked photos of ships in 'Clash of Clans' have inundated Internet forums and have fancied the imagination of COC fans who are predicting the possibility of sea battles.
According to the website Game & Guide, the hype surrounding the October 2016 update dropped by Supercell for COC has died down, with players clamoring for another update. COC lost its leadership as the top-grossing game to 'Pokemon GO' following the release of Pokemon's Halloween update. 'Clash of Clans' also had Halloween-themed tweaks, which included special pumpkin and flying dragons.

 COC players have since demanded for a 'Clash of Clans' update before 2016 ends. If the sea-themed changes will push thru, COC aficionados might see themselves building water-based fortress, which they will protect from attacks. But Supercell's team of developers need more time to create the new objects and, items and characters for aquatic adventure and battles.

In July 2016, Venture Beat reported that Nintendo's Pokemon GO had outpaced Clash of Clans as the fastest mobile game ever to reach number one in terms of revenues. Pokemon Go took only less than a day to be on top of the charts on iOS and just four days on Android operating system. COC needed two days in iOS and seven days on Google Play to reach number one.

iTech Post reported on an October 2016 survey that revealed Pokemon GO as the more popular mobile game compared to 'Clash of Clans' and other leading mobile games combined, based on the number of players.

 The leaked ship photos have caused quite an excitement mong 'Clash of Clans' players. Supercell is yet to confirm the addition of sea characters, fortresses, and attacks in the upcoming update to 'Clash of Clans.'
