Walking Dead News & Updates: One Of The Show’s Character Is Going To Broadway. Can You Guess Who It Is?

The Walking Dead recurrent actor Corey Hawkins is now walking to a Broadway play. The same Dr. Dre of "Straight Outta Compton" series is now returning for the remake of "Six Degrees of Separation" at the upcoming Broadway show.

Harris role on the play will be about a character that also inspired a movie starred by Will Smith. This one is about Paul, a young black man who tries to pass like Sidney Poitier actor's son. The story is based on real events, when he introduce himself to a wealthy couple from New York played by Allison Janney and John Benjamin Hickey, with the excuse of knowing their son from College.

This is an original story  from a ninety's play written by John Guares, who received multiple awards, one of them: a Tony for best play and as finalist for a Pulitzer Prize  for Drama.

"Six Degrees of Separation" opens on April 25, 2017 in Barrymore Theater, produced by Stuart Thompson and Tim Levy. The play will be a revival of the original story with a different cast, of course, adding the expectation of a new generation of fans attending up to see their favorite actors from their favorites series why not.

For Hawkins, this is not his first time in a Broadway since he starred as Tybalt in 2013 in "Romeo and Juliet." Co-starred by Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad.

The actor's upcoming projects  are in "24: Legacy" as Eric Carter, aired on Fox at February 5 leading with Miranda Otto and Jimmy Smits. In "The Walking Dead" like Heath again known the role and recurring actor of the series. Also, we would see him in a new film next to Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston in a King Kong prequel "Kong: Skull Island" available next year.
