The recent interview of "Dragon Ball Supers" artist, manga creator Toyotarou, revealed interesting attributes of the latest continuation for the beloved Dragon Ball series.  Toyotarou's engagement with "Dragon Ball" grew out of his being a big fan of the show.  Now, he continues to enjoy putting in his talent for the show's characters in partnership with "Dragon Ball  Super" creator, Akira Toriyama.

Toyotarou also revealed that as far as the "Dragon Ball Super" story is concerned, Toriyama is actually more concerned with the comedic moments .  "I can tell that he really loves those parts," says Toyotarou.

He humbly admits being surprised that Toriyama actually approves working with him, even accepting his storyboards for review.  Toriyama would also give input and changes which he promptly carries out.  The corrections contribute well to their working relationship in developing the satisfying outcome for "Dragon Ball Super".

The latest "Dragon Ball Super" sequel will also have slight variation between the manga and anime version, which Toyotarou would like the fans to really carefully observe.  He says it depends on the medium being used, but it will be interesting for fans to make a comparison with.

With the freedom given him in translating Toriyama's words into drawings, the manga artist also takes careful consideration in presenting the characters' expressions.  He says it is these expressions that readers will perceive in the end.  It's because of this that he has to be attentive to the characters and the way they express themselves in the manga series.

The interview also reveals that Toyotarou will get more involved with "Dragon Ball Super" anime version.  Although as of present, it's more like he is the one at the receiving end than the one giving information.  He says, "The anime is a little bit further along than I am, but in the near future I'll be ahead, so the information will be going back to them. Regardless, we'll continue to support one another as we go forward."
