"Gifted" is a movie with Chris Evans who is an Uncle who is fighting for his gifted niece. This movie will surely melt your heart out with the bitter-sweet relationship of a single man in coastal Florida, Frank Adler, and his math-wizard niece Mary.

Adler started fatherhood to Mary, the high spirited niece, when his sister died.  The young man promised his sister to give Mary a normal kid - have friends, and be happy.

Fox Searchlight's full official trailer opens the film, Adler convincing Mary to go to formal schooling.  TheUncle has been homeschooling the "Gifted" child and Adler's life revolves at taking care of Mary. He makes her peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and walks her to the school bus.

At school, Mary showed signs of being a "Gifted" Math prodigy.  The primary school teacher, (Jenny Slate) discovered Mary's potential on becoming a Gifted child.

Tom Flynn creatively wrote the plot, adding twist to the laidback life of Frank and Mary, who spends normal days walking along coast line, running, dancing, and just being happy.  Conflict began when 7 year old Mary's Mathematical intelligence reached the knowledge of Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan), Frank's dominant mother.

Part of the story revolves on Evelyn's battle against Frank over Mary's full custody.  She wants Mary be sent to a school for the Gifted.  But Frank is determined to take legal action to fully raise Mary, and grant the child a normal life - as promised.  Will Frank be able to fulfill his promise of normal life to Mary? Or will he give in to what the society commands on what should be the 'normal' life of a Gifted child.

This indie film is produced by Marc Webb starring Captain America's Chris Evans and Mc Kenna Grace.

"Gifted", from the director of 500 days of summer and The Amazing Spider Man, conquers movie houses in the United States on April 12, 2017.
