"Xiaomi Redmi 4" gets released on Nov. 4 and many of its specifications and details have been leaked out on the internet. The Chinese smartphone maker is known for producing phones with high-end specifications at a lower price. Due to this reason, any phone from Xiaomi gets a global attention and this time it is with Xiaomi Redmi 4. The specifications and features of the phone are making the firm compete with major smartphone brands.

It is also reported that along with Xiaomi Redmi 4, the smartphone maker would try to introduce another model named "Redmi 4A" with basic specifications and would be much cheaper. It should be noted that the firm has released an image teaser of Xiaomi Redmi 4 in twitter. The image shows that the phone has a curved display glass at the edges and the frame is made of metal. However, further details about the specifications are not revealed in the teaser.

Though the teaser of Xiaomi Redmi 4 has not clearly mentioned, it can easily be concluded that 2.5D curved glass is used on the phone. Also, the phone is reported to have a 5-inch full HD LCD display, 32GB storage, Snapdragon 625 processor at 1.4GHz octa-core, 3GB of RAM, 5MP front camera, 13MP primary camera and a 4,100mAH battery, along with the full metal body.

In the case of Xiaomi Redmi 4A, the specifications are 5-inch 720p LCD panel display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage with SD card slot, Snapdragon 425 processor, 5MP front camera, 13MP primary camera and a 3030mAh battery. The phone is expected to arrive in 2 colors, gold and rose gold.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 is reported to be introduced in U.S. soon after the official launch of the phone. The reports say that Xiaomi is testing its smartphones in U.S. networks. It should be noted that many of the LTE bands used in U.S. including 1700 MHz and 1900 MHz are uncommon in rest of the world and every smartphone marker has to test with the networks. It can be expected that the firm could complete the testing soon and introduce Xiaomi Redmi 4 in U.S.

The firm is aiming to capture the mass "low priced but high specification" smartphone category with its Xiaomi Redmi 4. The firm is keen on introducing phones that can capture the attention of whole tech world. The recently released "Xiaomi Mi Mix" phablet also shown that the firm does not want to lose in any segment.
