"Humans" Season 2 is back and it is back with a vengeance. In season 1, it can be remembered that Karen (Ruth Bradley) helped the children of Elster to understand and unravel what the secrets behind the consciousness of the Synths.

The code was deleted by Niska (Emily Berrington) since they were undecided on what to do with the new found understanding. It was deleted from Mattie's laptop making the flash drive copy the only one in existence.

Will the humans and Synths be able to co-exist peacefully? That will be the question that hopefully will be answered in "Humans" season 2.

Cast revealed

Season 2 will still be having the same cast as the past season. The "Humans" will still be Laura Hawkins (Katherine Parkinson), Joe Hawkins (Tom Goodman-Hill) and Mattie Hawkins (Lucy Carless) will still be the members of the Hawkins together with Toby Hawkins (Theo Stevenson) and Sophie Hawkins (Pixie Davies.

Completing the Synths will be Mia (Gemma Chan), Leo Elster (Colin Morgan) and Niska (Emily Berrington). Other members of the Synths will be DS Karen Voss (Ruth Bradley), Odi (Will Tudor) and Max (Ivanno Jeremiah).

What to expect in season 2

"Humans" season 2 will start off with Niska still out there with the flash drive that contains what seemingly is the only consciousness code in existence. The rest of her family does not know where she is.

"Humans" Joe and Laura will still try their best to salvage what is left of their relationship. They will mend the torn pages of their relationship and will strive to draw closer to each other. In season one, the Hawkins patriarch was tempted by their family's Synth servant Anita and has a sexual relationship with her.

Synths will become more common and more acceptable in society. They have become so indispensable that people find it difficult to live without them.

"Humans" season 2 will premiere in the US on February 2017; October 30, 2016 in the UK.
