Andrei Drummond’s Double Double Helped Pistons Power Over The Bucks

20 points and 23 rebounds are the double double figures that Andrei Drummond packed up for Detroit against Milwaukee. It was enough to put a nail in the casket for the win with a final score of 98 - 83 over the Bucks at their October 31, 2016 meeting at Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Milwaukee never got near to lead in the second half of the game. Kentavious Caldwell Pope bombarded the Bucks with 21 points, scoring seven straight points of his twenty one in the last minute of the third quarter in regulation. This gave the Pistons a 10 point lead at the end of the third quarter.

Andrei Drummond got his 20th rebound in two games in a row giving him his tenth game of his career with a double double figure in the 20/20 level. Teammate Reggie Jackson was sidelined due to injury and isn't sure when he will be back. Jackson is a scoring machine for the Pistons. Piston's coach Van Gundy said that Marcus Morris could be forcing his shots.The absence of Reggie Jackson might have given him pressure to compensate on Jackson's point making vaccuum. The coach told him to relax. Fortunately, the team effort paid off. 

With a 1-1 start of the season, Andrei Drummond's team is averaging 99.5 points on 46.4 % shooting. Tobias Harris raked in 16 points while Marcus Morris, who was offline in his consecutive 8 attempts, and Ish Smith contributed 11 points each for the Pistons. Leading scorer for the Bucks is Antetokunpo with 17 points, in a report from Sports Chat Place.
