The Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago Cubs 1 - 0 Game 3 of the World Series. Indians pinch-hitter Coco Crisp hailed the hero after breaking the scoreless deadlock in the top seventh innings. The game heat up after the great showdown of two pitchers' Kyle Hendricks (Chicago Cubs), and Josh Tomlin (Cleveland Indians) allowing no runs.

One key factor of Cubs lost is the absence of appointed hitter Kyle Schwarber from the starting lineup due to a torn-up knee. He was spending the season rehabilitating the said injury and was just activated to play for the series. His attendance was the key reason why Cubs won game 2 of the series.

Josh Tomblin, Cleveland Starter pitcher, take full command in the first four innings and was later then pulled put by Manager Terry Francona after giving up one hit just seconds after Cubs hit of the night. Cleveland Indians reliever Andrew Miller was brought us to finish off the game which struck out three Cubs batters in the sixth innings.

The Cleveland Indians run off to have a serious threat in game three on the fifth innings by knocking Cubs starter Kylie Hendricks off the game with a hit, a walk, and a hit batsman. On the seventh innings, pinch-hitter Coco Crisp broke the scoreless deadlock on the third base. The Cubs almost scored in the bottom of the ninth, placing runners on second and third, but they couldn't score.

The game ended in frustration for the first time world series host after 72 years. Hoping to tie the best - of - seven series on Sunday, October 30 at Wrigley Field Chicago. The scheduled starting pitchers are John Lackey for the Chicago Cubs, and Corey Kluber for the Cleveland Indians.
