YouTube has introduced an engaging feature for mobile users through its app, called "End Screens". It is expected to bring more customization by giving suggestible videos to the user according to his taste and finally let him watch more videos related to the then watching video. It is also making convenience for the YouTube video creators add related videos to the End Screens, which would help them to get watched more videos of them.

End Screens feature is working in such a way that the video creators can add thumbnails of their suggestible videos at the end of the video. This will be very helpful to the users when they are watching episodes, as successive episodes can be watched without toggling too much within the app. The feature can also be used to subscribe channels of the creators, reports Tech Crunch.

YouTube End Screens feature was testing with few of the video creators and henceforth it will be available for everyone. Previously in desktops, video creators were able to add annotations that are clickable link to the particular videos, cited by Venture Beat. YouTube also introduced "YouTube Cards" last year and it is being displayed while the video is playing, but quite similar to YouTube End Screens.

In YouTube End Screens feature, the video publishers can add up to 4 videos as small overlay thumbnails from the last 20 seconds to 5 seconds of the video, per YouTube Blog. The publisher can either direct to his videos or other's videos; they can also promote non-YouTube sites or campaigns. Also, the publishers can track the performance of YouTube End Screens in their analytics page to see how useful it is.

YouTube End Screens can be a useful tool for both video publishers and users if it is used judiciously. Few restrictions from YouTube can make this feature a darling otherwise it may cause a flood of campaigns and advertisements in the platform that might make the users less interested in the feature. It is also reported that YouTube is going to be like Social Media platforms to get more users in, which could be similar to Amazon Family Vault, where a user can bring his friends and family to the more personalized platform.
