Who doesn't love Benedict Cumberbatch? From Sherlock Holmes to being Doctor Strange, he would definitely nail it. Doctor Strange is not yet released but big plans are already moving forward for the new Marvel Superhero.

A little background about Doctor Strange, Dr. Stephen Strange was an arrogant surgeon before he even became a superhero. According to Pop Inquirer, the character of Benedict Cumberbatch would travel the world to regain back his talent and that is were he met the Ancient One, the one who will teach him the ways of Mystic Arts.

As everyone expects a huge box office hit for the first Doctor Strange movie, a sequel talk about this had risen. Scott Derrickson, the director of Doctor Strange movie said something that would make us conclude that there will be a sequel. According to Screen Rant, Derrickson teased that the first Doctor Strange movie was just a tip of an iceberg and there is much progress that can be made.

The said sequel is not yet officially announced but fans were hinted about the idea that gives emphasis on the villain. Derrickson points out an example of delivering great villains in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Night, like Joker and Two-Face. And he would also love to do that for Doctor Strange.

Villain(s) in a comic is almost as popular as the superhero. Thus, villains are important for a great superhero movie. So the sequel would go deep and will take a lot of time to develop a villain for the film according to an article in Bleeding Cool.

The release date for Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch will be this November 4, 2016 and according to Screen Rant, Benedict Cumberbatch has already been confirmed to also make an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War which will be released on May 4, 2018.
