How nice is it for drivers not to drive and still reach their destination? Never say 'that is impossible' because in the year 2020 the road will be filled with driverless cars.

Expect the widespread of driverless cars in the road since according to Business Insider there are already 11 automakers that are already planning and is committed with the driverless car new technology which are Tesla, Google, Toyota, BMW, Volvo, Nissan, Ford, General Motors, Daimler, Audi, and Baidu.

According to Tech Crunch, Rahul Sonnad, the CEO of Tesloop, wasn't really engaged with the 2016 election compared to some as he is engaged with the driverless car . The matter about the autonomous car might also become a relevant political issue by 2020. Now let us see the companies that is racing with each other.

Starting with Tesla, which have a goal to get the driverless car ready by 2018. The said goal will still be decided on how regulators will take this new technology.

Nissan is already on its way as it already achieved major advancement while Ford is fully committed to produce a driverless car that will be affordable to all.

General Motors have a self-driving concept and is ready to test some prototypes.

Daimler is striving hard to to be the first one to launch the driverless car or the autonomous function in vehicles.

Audi, a company also committed, hasn't set any date yet for the launching of driverless car. While Baidu is now currently working and testing the project.

Rumor has been flying around that Apple will also or has been working on driverless car. No confirmation has yet to be receive.

Everyone is pretty excited with the new driverless car technology but has anyone considered the effect of it? Effects can differ with different brands. According to Driverless-Future it can kill when it is ill-conceived, there is the left turn problem and many more so it is up to the automakers to manufacturer and solve and avoid possible problematic effects of driverless car.
