"Prison Break" Season 5 is already confirmed to return. It is speculated that Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) is going to be dead while helping the team in trying to free Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) from prison. There ae also rumors that a possible Season 6 may happen.

According to Aussie Network News, Prison Break Season 5 might be the last season for Sara because she may die trying to help Michael escape. It is likely that Sara and Michael will not get back together ever again.

It can be recalled that Sara and Michael was together in the past seasons. Unfortunately, they got separated when Michael was expected to be dead in "Prison Break" Season 4. Sara was pregnant and eventually she was found living in Costa Rica with their son.

In a report from MNR Daily, it is indicated that there is no specific date for "Prison Break" Season 5 yet. It is hinted in the report that there is a possibility of a sixth season. In fact Wentworth Miller shares that the upcoming season returns with a big time jump from the previous one.

He also added that the upcoming seasons for "Prison Break" will also be based on how the fans will react to the upcoming season. Meanwhile, the show will also feature the original casts and that the same team is going to help Michael Scofield escape from prison.

The Christian Times reports that "Prison Break" Season 5 has a lot of potential since fans are already hungry to see the great escape happen again in the small screens. This time around Scofield is the one needing help to be broken out of prison.

Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) must seek the help of Sara and the other team members to help him in planning the escape for Michael. "Prison Break" Season 5 may be challenging for the group since they not only have to take Michael out from prison but they also need to get out of Yemen.

"Prison Break" Season 5 is expected to return in 2017.
