Samsung’s recent misfortune with its blazing Galaxy Note 7 and the daunting legal battle with Apple kept the company preoccupied, which probably is the reason why there was never a formal announcement of its upcoming ArtPC Pulse. To be fair, Samsung has revamped its new PC, which looks impressively modern with its state-of-the-art cylindrical design.

The cylindrical design of Samsung ArtPC Pulse looks a lot like its arch-competitor Apple Mac Pro. In an article by John Phillips, PC World Editor-in-Chief, “It would be easy to call the ArtPC Pulse a rip-off of Apple’s Mac Pro,“ he added that, “The HP Pavilion Wave is currently for sale in HP’s online store, and, frankly, it looks way more sophisticated that Samsung’s bid for exactly the same market.” The Wave, on the other hand, is also a round computer with 360-degree Bang and Olufsen speaker.

The ArtPC Pulse has a full metal body with 6th generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, AMD Radeon RX460 GPU with up to 16 GB memory and a 1 HDD module, and 256 GB SSD which assures faster loading times and good performance capable of supporting 3D games and play 4K movies.

With its customizable features, users can personalise the lightning band along with its smart notifications. An Hourly Chime function also gives users the option to adjust audio and visual alarms. It has a 360-degree Harman and Kardon speakers, making it a good entertainment device.

ArtPC Pulse costs around $1,199.00 (Core i5 model) to $1,599 (Core i7 model). Should you be thinking of purchasing a new PC, you might as well consider purchasing this device, which is cheaper than the tech-giant Apple’s Mac Pro. Consumers can now place orders at Amazon and they will begin shipping on October 28, 2016.
