The latest NBA news reveals that J.R. Smith has returned to Cleveland Cavaliers. This sure is good news for his fans and that of a team.

Finally, Smith and the Cavaliers ended up with a four-year deal that is worth $57 million. The terms were agreed upon on Friday which will guarantee the shooting guard $45 million for the next three seasons.

But in the fourth season, it will no longer be fully guaranteed, ESPN reported. During that time, Smith will already be 34 years old. Some sources also reveal that if the Cavaliers will wave him after the 2018-2019 seasons, this final season will be guaranteed.

The return of Smith to the Cavaliers was announced last Saturday saying:

"Bringing J.R. back as part of our core group was a priority for us," general manager David Griffin said in a statement. "He's a special part of this family and we are very pleased to have reached an agreement that we all can feel good about. We know he can't wait to get back on the court with his brothers and we are certain that everyone in this organization and city feels the same way."

Smith and his family cannot hide their excitement for his return. In a video posted to Uninterrupted, he said that he was happy and was encouraged by the deal.

"We are extremely happy and proud to say that we have agreed to terms to come back to the Cleveland Cavaliers, aka the champs, aka my brothers. It's been a long road," Smith said in the video. "I appreciate everybody sticking out through this rough patch of time. I know this holdout and everything else has been long and tedious for everybody, but it's extremely huge for us. We're happy to be a part of the Cleveland family and just want to take it one day at a time."

In his first full year in the team for the last season, he averaged 12.4 points and 2.8 rebounds while starting 77 games. He also ranked seventh in the NBA with 204 three-pointers, according to Bleacher Report. He emerged as a valuable gunner as well as a floor-spacer around LeBron James and Kyrie Irving.
