Outlander' Season 3 News, Spoilers, Updates: Claire Pregnant, Storyline Covers 20 Years, New Cast Joins Show

Although "Outlander" Season 3 is still a year away, many spoilers and speculations about the show already surfaced on the internet. This proves the popularity of the show and how excited are the fans to see Claire and Jamie once again.

The upcoming season will be dealing cover a period of two decades. New characters will also be joining from Diana Gabaldon's third book, "Voyager." Apart from that, it is said that Claire will be pregnant after her heartbreaking miscarriage.

"Outlander" Season 3 Spans 20 Years

Sam Heughan revealed in an interview that the show will have a span of two decades. He also added that fans will be enjoying the views of Scotland, England, Jamaica and North Carolina. He also teased that there will be many dramatic scenes. He even said that there are some scenes filmed without the knowledge of some of the crew. Obviously, it sure is a surprise even for the crew!

Claire Pregnant

Speaking of Claire (Caitriona Balde) will be apart from Jamie. She stays with her husband Frank but she is pregnant with Jamie's child. She will try to live her life without Jamie but when she learned that Jamie survived the Battle of Culloden, it became very difficult for her. But then she continues with life as she raised her daughter, Brianna, reported International Business Times.

New Characters

"Outlander" Season 3 will also be featuring new characters like Young Ian Murray portrayed by John Bell. Will Johnson will also reprise his role as Joe Abernathy.

Johnsons will be Claire's new found friend in the 20th century as she enters medical school. Meanwhile, Bell will be meeting Jamie in the 18th century. He is a naughty boy with a good heart.

Aside from that two, Australian actor David Berry will play the role of Lord John Grey. Tobias Menzies will also come back for "Outlander" Season 3 as Claire's husband, Frank.

"Outlander" Season 3 will be released some time in 2017 on Starz.
