Avril Lavigne Dismisses Rehab Rumors on Twitter
Avril Lavigne, the 'Let Go' French Canadian singer has dismissed rumors of her being in rehabilitation on Twitter, Tuesday.
Reports of the 30-year-old strugling with addiction surfaced after she disclosed that she was struggling with some health issues.
"The rehab RUMORS are hilarious!" she tweeted. "The only thing I'm addicted to right now is Bing Crosby. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! and to all a goodnight!"
Lavigne admitted to "not feeling well" in a direct message conversation with Twitter fan account @AvrilMusicChart earlier this month. Her representative later denied the singer was pregnant, but did not elaborate on the star's health.
Lavigne married Nickelback frontman Chad Koreger in July 2013. But there was trouble in paradise soon and divorce rumors surfaced in November.
Kroeger, 39, was quick to deny the rumors and even called them comical. He said such rumors were upsetting to the family and he had to reassure his dad that they were just rumors and not true."All that stuff that people say behind each other's backs [in high school] is minuscule, pales in comparison to the world of celebrity or being married to a celebrity," he said, reports UPI. "It's ridiculous. How many times has Jennifer Aniston been pregnant this year?"
Avril Lavigne, the fifth studio album of the singer was released in Nov. 2013. The record debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and includes the singles "Rock n Roll" and "Hello Kitty." The singer told @AvrilMusicChart new music will be delayed because of her illness, reports UPI.
