Netflix has just renewed 2 seasons for its original series "Narcos." Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) is dead but it does not stop the drug trade. There are rumors that the Cali Cartel is the one to reign right after Escobar.

According to iTechPost, the cartel continues even if the greatest movers for the Columbian drug trade are already dead. The Medellin cartel is out and there are others who want to take the place of Escobar in the upcoming seasons of "Narcos."

The upcoming seasons of "Narcos" will be covered by the Southern Columbian drug syndicate. The Cali Cartel will take the lead in the drug trade and they come right after the death of Escobar. Season 3 also marks the coming back of the Los Pepes.

It is also reported that "Narcos" Season 3 focuses on the Cali Cartel to rule the drug trade. Season 4 on the other hand will have the Mexican Drug Cartel to take over. It is speculated that the upcoming seasons will show how the Cali Cartel took over the business after Escobar. It also shows on how the drug trade moved over to the Mexican Cartel.

In a previous report from News Everyday, it is indicated that the Cali Cartel operates in a different way. They rule once "Narcos" Season 3 kicks in and they are protected by the economic political system. The Cali Cartel is also composed of lawyers, engineers and other high ranking individuals.

"Narcos" Season 3 is also speculated to show how the Cali Cartel eventually became a dangerous group. Meanwhile, the Los Pepes are rumored to return in the upcoming season. They have been the ones used by the Cali Cartel in their operations which led to Escobar's death.

The Los Pepes are supposed to stop their operations right after Escobar's death. However in "Narcos" Season 3 they have been taken back by the Columbian government to pursue their operations.

"Narcos" Season 3 is set to air in 2017.
