Upcoming DLC, titled “Road to Boruto,” for “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” will be featuring new characters as well as an all-new adventure mode. Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Nick O’Leary announced this to the delight of the game's fans.

o'Leary was present at the New York Comic Con (NYCC) 2016 where he teased about what "Road to Boruto" will be about. He revealed that aside from the new players and new adventure mode, players will be able to spend hours to complete some additional content for “Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," DualShockers reported.

The game play was also showcased at the Twitch stage wherein a Demo of the game features a fight between Sasuke Uchiha and a mysterious character named Kinshiki. O’Leary further teased that the game will feature the connection of the future of the anime series to the end of the game. With this, t would also mean that fans will be able to see the ending of the anime through the game.

To recall, Bandai Namco already confirmed at the Tokyo Game Show last September that the “Road to Boruto” is the final expansion in the Ultimate Ninja series. Since it is the last release of the Ultimate Ninja series, they developers spent time working on it to make sure that it will conclude the franchise with an impressive game.

"We’ve been developing the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series for 15 years since the first one," a representative for the publisher said in an interview with Polygon. "In total, the series has sold 15 million copies. Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 has sold two million worldwide. This one is going to be the last one in the series, so we’ve poured all our efforts into it."

“Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4” DLC “Road to Boruto” is set for release on Feb. 3, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
