"Arrow" season 5 just aired its first episode "Legacy" and it revealed that everyone has moved on - except Oliver.

Mayor "Do Nothing" Oliver Queen

The struggle of living up to the expectation of the people is becoming real for Mayor Oliver Queen. People are already calling him "Mayor Do Nothing." He's lucky that his sister, Thea Queen, has taken on the job of assisting him with his civic duties. In "Arrow" Season 5, Oliver tries hard to juggle his role as a public servant and as the Green Arrow but it is not easy.

Thea made it clear that she doesn't want to be back on Team Arrow. John Diggle also expressed the same sentiments. If there's something that going on right for Team Arrow, it is Felicity Smoak - at least on a professional level. So far, she last standing member of Team Arrow, but still, on a personal level, Felicity has definitely moved on with his new beau. Is there really no chance for "Olicity" in the upcoming "Arrow" Season 5 episodes?

The Plot

Entertainment Weekly reported that there were some flashbacks in "Arrow" Season 5 episode 1 that explained Oliver's Russian connection. Anatoly Knyazev was there when Oliver was in Russia to kill Constantine Kovar. Could this be a major plot this season?

"Arrow" Season 5 Episode 1 introduced the new villains in Star City - Prometheus and Tobias Church. Tobias Church is already assembling his own army of villains while Prometheus showed off his skills which were almost as good as the Green Arrow. It also showed the Green Arrow killing without hesitation. Oliver explained that the reason why Laurel Lance is dead was because he hesitated to do what needs to be done - killing Damien Darhk. New villains plus Oliver's new "badass" attitude - "Arrow" Season 5 can be one explosive season.

Aside from the villains, new members of Team Arrow were also introduced. Forbes reported that Wild Dog and Curtis Holt is now the newest team member of Green Arrow. Do the fans like it? We just have to wait and see. With Black Canary rumored resurrection, will Thea and Diggle remain on the background only or something major is going to happen - major enough to convince them to work with the Green Arrow once again.
