Truly, November cannot come any sooner. Moreso, if you are a Final Fantasy fan, then the latest gameplay trailer for "Final Fantasy XV" might raise your hype juices even further, as it highlights an entirely new mechanic for the game.

Unveiled during the recently held TwitchCon 2016 event, the new trailer highlighted the "Death Spell," a new magic - type skill that comes along with the Ring of Lucii, one of the game's key items.

"Death [Spell] drains the HP of enemies," Square Enix said. "The longer you use the spell, the more your enemy will physically deteriorate."

In the video embedded below, Noctis is shown using the Death Spell to squeeze the life energy out of his party's enemies before they physically implode to dust. Furthermore, the trailer emphasized that the said spell can be used in a variety of ways to ensure its effectivity, some of which could be unsettling.

Meanwhile, in the midst of the festivities for TwitchCon, the game's art director Yusuke Naora has taken to Twitter to formally announce his departure from Square Enix, after 24 years of being a major contributor to the Final Fantasy franchise.

However, Naora will be working as an independent designer that may see him collaborate with Square Enix and its sister companies in the near future.

"Final Fantasy XV" is slated for release on November 29th.
