Recent NBA trade rumors purport the possibility of Toronto Raptors' ace guard Kyle Lowry being sent to the Philadelphia 76ers in lieu of big man Jahlil Okafor.

According to a report by Sports Times, the aforementioned teams are currently discussing the terms of the swap, with one of the key conditions pointing to Okafor heading out for Toronto. This goes against previous rumors surrounding a trade with the Boston Celtics. Furthermore, this move is surprising, considering Lowry's current value as a player and his tenure with the team.

In hindsight, this might be a gamechanger for Toronto. Okafor's per-game average ranges at 17.5 points, 7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks. This may bode well for Toronto, as they are currently in need of a player who can pose a real threat inside the shaded lane. However, if we are to consider Lowry's PGA (21.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.4 assists), Toronto may not give in to the deal just yet.

However, Okafor was quick to dismiss any rumor, as he tweets his take on the issue.

"With all that being said. I love where I am, and I am excited about this upcoming season. Big season for us! #Philly," Okafor commented.

On the other hand, 'the Raptors are also targeting rising star DeMarcus Cousins for their roster next season, and it has not been confirmed yet if the young rookie is willing to take on the deal.
