Ronda Rousey has not been in the Octagon since her upset loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. Fans have been waiting for her comeback and it looks like she might be stepping in the cage again late this year.

According to ESPN, there have been ongoing discussions on her comeback fight, potentially against current UFC bantamweight champion, Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in Las Vegas. However, there is still no final decision whether she will make her comeback this year considering Rousey has undergone minor knee surgery this summer.Edmond Tarverdyan, Rousey's Head Striking Coach, said in an interview with ESPN that "when she does come back, we promise the best Ronda Rousey that anyone has ever seen."

Early this month, according to BJPenn.com, a photo of Ronda Rousey in fight shape has gone viral. Showing that she has defintely been preparing and hitting the gym for her comeback. Rousey's boyfriend, UFC Fighter Travis Browne, said he feels bad for whoever she is fighting next. After Cris Cyborg's KO win against Lina Lansberg at UFC Fight Night 95 in Brazil, the posibility of a Cyborg vs Rousey match-up has once again surfaced.

According to Fox Sports, Cyborg called out Ronda Rousey to come back in the cage and fight. The match-up between Cyborg and Rousey has been one of the fights MMA fans have been waiting for.

If Rousey decides to fight at UFC 207 against Nunes, the fight between Rousey and Cyborg will highly depend on the outcome. According to Yahoo Sports, if Rousey gets her belt back, the fight against Cyborg will probably be put on hold yet again.

There has not been any report on the final decsion of Rousey's camp on the potential comeback in December this year. Whether this year or early in 2017, fans are looking forward to the best version of Ronda Rousey.
