Roy Nelson once again proved his knockout power as he comes out with a second round KO victory over Antonio 'Bigfoot' Silva last September 24, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 95 in Brasilia, Brazil. But his reaction just moments after the stoppage caught the audience's attention.

According to Sherdog, Nelson has landed a strong right uppercut that instantly brought 'Bigfoot' down on the ground, but he had to blow some extra four or five follow-up shots before referee John McCarthy called off the fight. Nelson raised his hands up in protest before he went back and "kicked" McCarthy shortly after the fight ended to express his frustration over the late stoppage.

"For me it hurt my feelings. I apologized to 'Big' John but I wouldn't take it back. It just hurt me that I've got to keep on hitting a guy that didn't need to be hit," Nelson said in an interview with Fox Sports. "Bigfoot" is Nelson's friend, giving him extra damage crushed his feelings. He also mentioned that he knows "Bigfoot" has a family to go back to, and would not want to leave damage to him as the follow-up punches he blowed were actually very clean shots to the head.

Nelson, a veteran fighter with 35 professional MMA fights in his career, expressed that he know what a knockout looks like because he has been fighting for a living. According to MMAFighting, Nelson said that he has been doing MMA for a living and he was sure "Bigfoot" was already out.

Nelson could be facing penalty from The Brazilian Athletic Commission (CABMMA) if McCarthy decides to file a complaint against him. Nelson in his defense, said it was more on a push rather than a kick. UFC will most probably reprimand Nelson for touching a referee after the fight.
