The popular Japanese TV anime series "Nanatsu no Tazai" or "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 was teased at the end of the Four-episode Original Video Animation (OVA) titled "The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War" two Sundays ago. After the first season, reports say that the series will still follow the storyline which was originally established by creator Nakaba Suzuki. The manga was first heard of in year 2012, when it was released on the Weekly Shonen Jump.

Yibada reports that the anime series focuses on the co-existence of humans and non-humans. It is set at medieval time when the whole world was ruled by Kings and Queens. On "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2, the storyline will focus on Princess Elizabeth's search for the Seven Deadly Sins, which, in the series, are seven knights who carry the power to bring back order and peace in the world.

Release-Date.Info confirmed that "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 will be released this year but the exact date remains unclear. Its first season had twenty four episodes which were aired on JNN Network. The manga series was adapted by A-1 Pictures Studio and took off as a television series from October 5, 2014 to March 29, 2015. It was also reported that there were about 10 million copies of the manga sold around the world.

However, the Bitbag gave another schedule. The report says that creator Suzuki is having a hard time to finish some chapters of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2. Because of this, the season 2 release may be moved and may possibly fall in year 2017.

Even when the release of "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 is still unclear, avid fans of the manga series can be assured that the first season episodes will be out in Blu-ray or DVD copies by January 11 next year. During the launching, fans will also have a chance to get free tickets for "The Seven Deadly Sins" First-ever event.
