'NBA 2K17' Review: Good Update with Excellent Career Mode

The new installment of NBA 2K franchise is definitely the most anticipated sports video game this year. NBA 2K17 shows an excellent career mode but minor mistake in detail is quite hilarious. The game was released Sept. 20.

NBA 2K is one of the most visually stunning sports video game since its first installment for Sega Dreamcast in 1999. Its continuous improvement in every version has NBA 2K series as the most popular sports game series in video games today, and arguably of all time, according to Forbes.

Since the first NBA 2K was released featuring Allen Iverson, the game gained many devoted fans. They anxiously waited for the new installment to release and they can see how the game have improved to be more and more realistic. The new NBA 2K17 showed how a sports game should be made.

There are so many factors that explain why NBA 2K17 has achieved a new milestone for the franchise history. One of the main factor according to Bleacher Report is the level of customization it gives to its players.

MyCareer mode is the highlight of the the NBA 2K17. Its new facial-scan technology provides even more accuracy and the customized game which players made is astonishing. Players can customize their own game and the depths of customization is even more amazing.

MyCareer has give further customization to allow players create their own player and teams, with MyGM, MyLeague and MyTeam. MyGM and MyLeague gives player control the entire league, while MyTeam allow player to createa a team to compete against other players' teams

However, there is a small mistake in detail that makes former Rudy Fernandez, a former NBA player who spent his NBA career in Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets to laugh. The Spanish national team player was featured in the NBA 2K 17 was laughing when he saw his depiction in the game as USA Today reported. Visual Concepts quickly fixed his depiction and making it to be more like him.

NBA 2K 17 is available in multi-platforms from PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and also Microsoft Windows.
