With the MyCareer Trailer for WWE 2K17 launched, avid fans and longtime players out there are already given a glimpse on their road to stardom in the WWE. Paul Heyman himself tweeted about it.

In the coming game, the default way is to rise through the ranks of NXT, score a chance to get into the main roster, then flourish there until there's no one left to beat. For the more eager, though, 2K Studios has allowed players to forego NXT entirely, and skip right to the main roster.

But as most fans know, whether it's in the game or in real life, the road to the top is long and with many a challenge. In this new trailer, though, you're given an option to fast track that goal: siding with Paul Heyman.

As one of the best, if not the best, managers Heyman is sure to involve the player a whole lot more in the storyline that if they choose otherwise. Choice is always a good highlight in games, letting the player feel more immersed rather than being led along. That, plus the promo engine, means rising superstars now feel more involved in the process of being the greatest.

Forbes also points out something important and maybe just as exciting. If you do choose to go against Paul Heyman, you'd better watch your back because Brock Lesnar. Just that. Really, everyone know he's reason enough. That said, it should be very exciting. That is, of course, if the player rises enough in the ranks to be noticed by the two.

Still, it's something to consider. There's nothing more boring than being led through a linear storyline. The changes and choices here and there add more than just flavor to the game, it adds a sense of accomplishment at the end of it all, whichever the choice.

Speaking of accomplishment, it's also now viable to hold more than one title. So for all the overachievers out there, you've got your game cut out for you.

Moving on to the roster, 2K has also released the first batch of DLC characters that will be available upon launch. What Culture gives a fairly detailed list, so check it out. In short, though, here's who to look forward to buying if you're interested:

Kerry Von erich, The Godfather and Papa Shango, Austin Aries, Mojo Rawley, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, Tyle Dillinger and Eddie Guerrero.
