Dragon Ball Super episode 59, which did not air on Sept. 18 will air on Sept 25 wherein fans of the show will learn more about the connection between Zamasu and Black Goku.

Speculations reveal that Zamasu is not Black Goku like what many fan theories state. To recall, there were hints dropped that Zamasu and Black Goku are the same entities but this might be proven wrong in the upcoming episode.

Episode 58 started with Future Trunks, Vegeta and Goku returning to the present. They were given with senzu beans by Bulma so they could recover. Goku thought of bring plenty of the beans with them to fight Black Goku and Zamasu once again but this angered Bulma.

Whis, Kaio and Beerus came to meet Vegeta, Goku and Trunks to discuss about Zamasu. One possibility that they came up with is that Zamasu will steal the Time Rings and harm Gowasu. With that, Zamasu will use said Time Ring for himself and for Black Goku, according to Christian Times.

Zamasu could have made a wish using Super Dragon Balls while chanting words from Zuno. His first wish is a clone of Son Goku and he might have waited for another year before making the second wish. But to make things quicker, he just stole the Time Ring from Universe 10.

But it is obvious that the Time Ring is hard to get not unless Gowasu is no longer around. It is possible that Zamasu killed Gowasu and he managed to get two Time Rings- one for him and the other for Black Goku. Then he left to destroy Earth in future, Movie News Guide reported.

So that is the link between Zamasu and Black Goku, which means that the two are separate entities and Black Goku is the result of Zamasu's cruelty. This might also mean that Black Goku is an apprentice of Zamasu.

Not all of these possibilities and theories are confirmed yet. So, fans should take this with a grain of salt.

Meanwhile, Dragon Ball Super episode 60 is scheduled to telecast on Oct. 2 wherein it will be revealed that Zamasu kills Gowasu, University Herald reported.

Dragon Ball Super airs on Fuji TV every Sunday.
