The death of JonBenet Ramsey, a six-year-old beauty queen remained a mystery for about 20 years and different stories emerged about her murder especially when "The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey" documentary revealed her killer.

According to the two-part documentary, after a thorough investigation, they found out that her disturbed brother Burke killed her accidentally.

It was made clear that the young man who was nine years old that time didn't intend to kill his sister.

In an analysis by the show, it was revealed that the two fought over a snack of fresh pineapple. To recall, pineapples were also seen in the digestive system of JonBenet after her death.

While JonBenet's parents believed that she was already asleep after her father John carried her to her bedroom, she actually went down to eat and saw the pineapples that Burke was eating. She then sneaked to get some but this made Burke angry. Burke then hit her with a flashlight and accidentally killed her, E News reported.

Reports also added that JonBenet's parents, John and Patsy helped Burke cover the death of their daughter. It is even said that Patsy's report to 911 is rehearsed when she said that her daughter is missing and was kidnapped.

The investigators agree that there was no intention to kill but the Ramsey's clearly had the intention of misleading the police investigation.

"The Ramsey family did not want law enforcement to resolve this case and that's why it remains unresolved," said former FBI profiler Jim Clemente, according to Mail Online.

But because of the show's conclusion, L. Lin Wood, the family's attorney revealed that he will be filing a case on behalf of Burke due to the false and unprofessional attacks of the CBS show to the young man.

In response, CBS sand that it "stands by the broadcast and will do so in court," Telegraph reported.

JonBenet Ramsey's dead body was found in the basement of the family's home in Boulder, Colorado on Dec. 26, 1996.
