"Gotham" Season 3 premiere episode had the city in chaos. More villains are coming in to add to the destruction. One of them is Poison Ivy (Maggie Geha), who seems to mature as the season begins.

According to TV Guide, the young Poison Ivy met Fish Mooney's (Jada Pinkett Smith) goon at Indian Hill. Anyone the goon touches will age right away. Poison Ivy was touched for a few seconds and went down right away to the pipeline. Selina (Camren Bicondova) assumed her to be dead.

Ivy's transformation is not only physical. She also will transform emotionally as Gotham Season 3 moves along. Executive Producer Ken Woodruff shares that Ivy is still the same young person inside. However this mature Ivy is going to do things that the young one could not. There is a whole different character to be seen.

It seems that the young Ivy is still around. Geha explains that even though she looks more mature now, her younger self is still a big part of her personality in "Gotham" Season 3. Poison Ivy is transforming into her darker self. This darker self of Ivy is close to the Poison Ivy in the comics.

Meanwhile, comicbook reports that a sneak peek of "Gotham" Season 3 Episode 2 is revealed. The upcoming episode is titled 'Burn the Witch.' This time, Fish Mooney locates Hugo Strange (B.D. Wong) by herself. This leads to Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) teaming up with Valerie Vale (Jaime Chung) to hunt Mooney.

Penguin rises to popularity after he criticizes the work of the Gotham City Police Department and Bruce Wayne's investigation to the court of Owls to be compromised. Ivy Pepper then comes in to Gotham Season 3 and does what she needs to do in order to add to chaos.

"Gotham" Season 3 Episode 2 titled 'Mad City: Burn the Witch' airs on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 8p.m. ET.
