"The Magnificent Seven" casts Denzel Washington and Chris Platt will be back in the big screens. The film which is about the seven outlaws whose jobs are to protect the small town from an industrialist and his goons.

According to BUSTLE, the new film of "The Magnificent Seven" is a remake from the original film in 1960. That was considered to be a classic genre. Even though the new film is a remake, there are notable differences that can be considered from the old one.

The cast of the new film is more diverse than the original one. "The Magnificent Seven" in the 1960's consisted of all white characters, whereas the latest film of the same title is led by Denzel Washington and the others come from different places.

Aside from the difference in cast, "The Magnificent Seven" of today is more modern, which means that it is more violent than the original film. It also differs in the setting of the film. The first film was protecting a town in a Mexican village from the evil Mexican town bandits. In today's film the cast is protecting a town in America from the modern businessman.

Despite the difference that these films have, it is similar in terms of the seven members. The Magnificent Seven brings in the gunslingers that are protecting the town from the villains.

Meanwhile, Chris Platt is taking a six month break from filming according to Mail Online. The actor is spending more time with wife Anna Farris and son Jack after making three films back-to-back. He has been away from his family for 14 months in shooting 'Guardians of the Galaxy,'" The Magnificent Seven" and "Passengers." Platt shared previously that he is having the perfect summer right after shooting the three films.

The Magnificent Seven is not only remade once since the original film was a remake of a Japanese film in 1954 titled "Seven Samurai." Fans can expect the gunslingers of "The Magnificent Seven" on September 23, 2016.
