Since Google ditched the Nexus brand for their upcoming phones, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL will be out soon featuring high-end design and specifications.

One of its features that users are looking forward is the Google launcher which will improve one's Android experience. Said launcher is called Pixel Launcher.

ROM developer LlabTooFer leaked information about the launcher along with some images as well as download links. According to reports, the Pixel Launcher is similar to Nexus Launcher, BGR reported.

The launcher has a Google Search bar which is neatly hidden away but of course, the function is still available. It is found at the top left of the screen while on the right side, one can scroll through apps that are alphabetically arranged.

It also comes with a new icon and a new version number. It has Google Assistant features as well. It also suggests that the Pixel handsets will be launched with Android 7.1 Nougat.

The designs of the app folders are also different wherein up to four apps are seen within the circle. Forbes noted that it looked more visually appealing.

Pixel Launcher will have daily wallpaper options, which means that you can change your wallpaper from day-to-day simply by pressing and holding on the home screen where you can open the wallpaper module.

Another big change is the transparent app drawer. When one swipes up, the drawer starts out as transparent and then the background will gradually turn white as it fills the screen.

Users can get an APK download of the launcher along with the Wallpaper picker APKS in zip file, Android Police reported.

Meanwhile, leaked images of the HTC-made phones surfaced online which shows a resemblance with the HTC 10 except that it has a home button and a rear fingerprint scanner.

The handset codenamed Sailfish is smaller, allegedly called Google Pixel while the Marlin unit is rumored to be called Google Pixel XL.
