NBA trade rumors are focusing on the possible transfer of Philadelphia 76ers Nerlens Noel to the Toronto Raptors. If this is true, what will the 76ers demand his trade?

Philadelphia 76ers' Need for "Balanced Roster"

The Philadelphia team is open to the possibility of trading its players like Noel or even Jahlil Okafor just to achieve more or less a "balanced roster", according to CSNPhilly. The 76ers really need either a point guard or shooting guard in the coming 2016-2017 Season.

Possible Philadelphia 76ers - Toronto Raptors Trade

NBA pundits use the ESPN Trade Checker to see what the 76ers can get from the Raptors in exchange for Noel.  It turns out that the Raptors will have to hand out two of its players in the hypothetical trade namely, Cory Joseph and Norman Powell. The Toronto however, may need to add a first or second rounder to further convince the 76ers to trade, according to Spontaneous.

Possible Trade Benefit

The Raptors can make use of Noel in their team who can play as starting forward and assume defense roles. The Toronto believes that Noel's defense could complement Jonas Valanciunas' offense plays.

The Toronto's current roster includes Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan which is quite impressive. However, one major obstacle to their championship dreams is the Cleveland Cavaliers whose roster includes LeBron James. A power forward like Noel could help boost their chances against the reigning NBA champs.

The Philadelphia 76ers will also get two guards to strengthen its current roster. Joseph is an NBA veteran whose skills enabled him to get a $7 million contract. Powell's skills are also a good addition to the 76ers team roster especially now that it's currently in the rebuilding phase.

The Philadelphia 76ers has long been rumored of trying to trade Noel and Okafor to various NBA teams. But the rumored trade rumor deal with the Raptors seems the most feasible for now.
