Niantic may have pleased "Pokemon GO" players with the imminent release of its Buddy System, but new rumors have begun circulating the web, which points to the possibility of trading being included with the said update.

According to OtakuArt, the said feature was included in the updated Terms of Service of the game stating that Niantic "may cancel, suspend, or terminate your Account and your access to your Trading Items, Virtual Money, Virtual Goods, the Content, or the services" used by a player. It was also noted that the updated TOS repeatedly used the word "trading," which opens up to the probability of its inclusion in the nearest future.

In addition, a group of Redditors have data mined the game's hidden files, and revealed that trading may come anytime soon. Along with trading, there are files that point towards a "new" item for the game similar to Incense, but will be able to attract specific types of Pokémon. This will help improve the complexity and promote a higher degree of social interaction between players through the exchange of Pokémon.

There are other potential updates which have been data mined by Reddit users previously. These include:

- Support for Virtual Reality systems may be included with the game. While there were no formal announcements regarding VRs, some Redditors have located points in the codec, which hinted an impending VR support for the app. If this pushes through, Google Cardboard might be the immediate medium in which it will be utilized.

- A future update may finally see the arrival of Pokémon hailing beyond the region of Kanto. According to a loophole discovered by a few Redditors, Generation 2 Pokémon are kept within the app's hidden in-game files, which may be unlocked once an update's been created.

No date has been given regarding the release of the next update for "Pokemon GO."
