Last week's episode of 'Game of Thrones' was not very exciting as it did not see much of action. It was smooth sailing for most despite their challenges, but Cersei certainly found herself in trouble.

After King Tommen ordered that there will be no trial by combat in future, the Queen mother definitely felt betrayed as she had been counting on this option to win her trial. But it looks like she has not yet given up and she still has one more option.

It came forth during a brief conversation between her and Qyburn when the latter tells her that his little birds have investigated the old rumor she told him about. She enquires if it is just a rumor or something more. Qyburn assures her that it is more, much more.

And then the conversation is over, showing a somewhat assured Cersei. So, what was the rumor both were talking about? What was in it that gave hope to Cersei? Well, according to a popular theory, they were talking about the hidden stash of wildfire, Mad King Aerys II possessed and threatened to burn King's Landing with during Robert's rebellion.

Many believe that Cersei would also follow his footsteps if things come to such a pass that she is threatened by the faith militants with a real trial. As fans know, it would not go in her favor for the judgment will be based on what they believe to be true rather than real physical evidence.

And Cersei is aware of it. But she also seems to have found a new way out. She will fight tooth and nail for her and Tommen's survival and would not hesitate to use the dangerous option of wildfire either. She has also previously referred to 'burning cities to the ground' if she has to save her children.

What is more, Jaime said in the same episode that Cersei is fierce about defending her children. He categorically pointed out that she would 'burn cities to ash' for her children.

So, don't be surprised if she does in the coming episodes.
