According to star Idina Menzel, the script writing for "Frozen 2" is well on its way.

Actress Idina Menzel, the voice behind the beloved ice queen Elsa told E! News, "We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it. That's all I know,"

Menzel started joking on Elsa's character in the upcoming second instalment of "Frozen." She spoke about an unimaginable reality for Elsa which fans of her character might not want to see pan out in "Frozen 2."

Menzel joked about the possibility of not being in the movie,"Unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes."

According to Bustle, although Menzel's remark was made as a joke, it is still not entirely out of the question. Disney has put out films where important characters perish.

Will Elsa get a female love interest? Though there is no official news on this it's only the speculations around since "Frozen 2" was announced March last year.

"I think it's great. Disney's just gotta contend with that. I'll let them figure that out," the star told Entertainment Tonight.

Elsa might be the only one who will find love in "Frozen 2." According to rumors, Olaf, the heroic and adorable snowman voiced by Josh Gad, will also meet the one in the sequel.

It is also believed that "Frozen 2" will also feature exciting songs that are projected to top the popularity of Elsa's iconic song "Let It Go," which narrated her journey freedom and acceptance of who she is.

There are rumors that Anna (voiced by Kristen Bell) and Elsa will both sing this song, however it's officialy unknown.

"Frozen 2" may arrive in early 2017.
