Charlize Theron has been roped up by the casting team of "The Fast and the Furious 8" to play as a villain in their upcoming film. In the first look, revealed recently, the star is shown standing in front of a rack of guns while looking in the opposite direction. The actress is shown sporting a high ponytail, wearing a Metallica t-shirt paired with black jacket.

According to Theron, her character in the film does not drive much. She added that the Fast 8 crew did most of the driving, that had a good thing going. "I don't know if I need to step in that department. I might have to step in in a different department," she said

As per Gary Gray, her director from the movie "The Italian Job," said she is one of the best drivers of the MINI, both offscreen and on. "We really didn't have to teach Charlize how to drive," he said in an interview back then. "We were just trying to hold her back."

Theron has also played the "Mad Max: Fury" main character, Imperator Furiosa, where she was assigned the task of driving heavily armed tractor trailer. While the fans are hoping to see the villainess behind the wheels more, her role in driving will only be revealed when the movie releases.

For now, not much details are available for Fast 8 plot, but the crew has been spotted filming in Cuba and New York. The movie is set for April 2017 release.
